How long does it take for a design to be completed?

The timescale of a project is generally dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind we will endeavour to meet it. The most common delay in the design of a web site is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client.

I would like you to design my site, what do I need to do now/what is the process?

If you would like to use our services all you need to do is inform us of the domain name you would like to use and send us a brief idea of your requirements. We will then need you to forward content and images for your site so we can start to design the website for you. This is then refined/changed in consultation with the client until a satisfactory design has been reached.

Do I need to buy a domain name and hosting?

You can either buy your own, or will can have it bought for you.

How much will the design it cost?

The cost of a website varies, depending upon the type of site you require. Obviously each site has to be treated on it's individual requirements. We request a 50% deposit for all standard sites and 70% for larger database driven projects. The balance of payment is then due on completion of the project. Payment can be made by cheque, Bank transfer or by using Payal.

What do I get for my money?

All our designs are created and made from your requirements. We aim to give all of our clients 'value for money' websites. Granted you may find a cheaper offer out there and no doubt a lot more expensive solutions. Below is what comes with each standard design:-

What happens when I complete your contact form?

If you are making an enquiry about a possible site you would like created, please provide a brief outline of your requirments. We will then mail you back promptly with an idea of price/timescale and any suggestions with regard to your project. You are not obliged to use our services at any stage during this process, so feel free to use the form to ask any related questions you may have.

Do I need to send a deposit for the work?

Yes we generally ask for a 50% deposit from clients.

How do I get listed in Google?

It is free to submit to Google. We submit all websites we design to all major search engines for the first month. After that you may want to take upon SEO yourself or have us do it for you.

What is Search Engine Optimisation?

All web pages should be 'optimised'. This will enable your site to gain a high search engine and traffic rank, it revolves around meta tagging, keywording and linking of your web pages, a web page that isn't optimised won't appear in the search engines to any great degree

Will we need to have a meeting?

In the majority of cases a meeting isn't necessary and 90% of our sites are generally completed with contact via email and telephone only. But we are always available for a coffee should you wish to stop by! Just email us first.

What aftersales support do you offer?

After the completion of a website project we are available for after sales service. Any slight tweaks or amendments are carried out to the site free of charge in the first month. Any support thereafter will be charged at an hourly rate of €20.
